XXXIX Meeting of the Italian Section of the Combustion Institute

The Annual Conference of the Italian Section of the Combustion Institute will be held in Naples from the 4th to the 6th July 2016. The style of the meeting conforms to the informal nature of these events. They are aimed at giving the opportunity for exchange of expertise and discussion between scientists and technologists working in the field of combustion, in all its fundamental and applied aspects, as well as in neighboring fields (pyrolysis, gasification, fuel processing and upgrading). Participation of PhD students and young researchers to the meeting is warmly solicited.
This year the meeting will consist of two parallel sessions for oral presentations. Each morning session will be opened by a plenary lecture (details will be available later on the ASICI website). One work-in-progress poster session will also be available on Tuesday afternoon. On Monday and on Wednesday two round tables on “Future priorities in combustion safety” and on “Biofuels and combustion technologies for flexible energy systems” will be organized.
