Description
The LRE Map is a mechanism intended to monitor the use and creation of language resources (LRs). It collects information provided by authors during the submission process to conferences on both existing and newly-created resources as described in the submitted papers. The Map is built on a simple set of metadata which describe the resource. This is meant as a collective enterprise of the LR community and has now become an essential instrument to monitor the field of LRs and to identify shifts in the production, use and evaluation of LRs and LTs over the years. The Map is built on a simple set of metadata used to minimally describe the resource. The LRE Map started in 2010 by ELRA (European Language Resources Association) and FLaReNet (Fostering Language Resources Network). Software: Java/Python/JavaScript with MySql as backend. People involved: Riccardo Del Gratta; Gabriella Pardelli e Sara Goggi. Demo URL: http://www.resourcebook.eu.
