Abstract

Il progetto ha lo scopo di fonire alla JRC analisi di campioni esposti alle nanoplastiche. Specifiche offerte:
- receive the nanoplastics samples to be tested (in liquid suspension or powder);
- store the nanoplastics samples in the proper environment (4 °C);
- prepare dilutions of the nanoplastics in the proper medium (milliQ water or other common
solvents);
- add the nanoplastics to living invertebrate organisms maintained in culture in their simulated
natural growing environment; the biological models that will be provided are the following:
zooplankton (crustaceans and rotifers) of seawater and internal water and bivalves from internal
water;
- control the exposure time;
- collect the organisms, stored in milliQ water with the addition of an antibacterial agent;
- send back to the JRC the vials by express courier in proper environment (4 °C)
- collect and share with the JRC all the information acquired during each experiment (state of the
organisms, biological parameters, temperature, time, etc.);
- assist in the preparation of a report or an Open Access publication if requested by the JRC (the
ownership of the result will be solely of the JRC)
- participate to scientific disc
